What We Do

The Auxiliary at the Edgewater Volunteer Fire Department is a vital arm of our organization. As a 501(c)3 non-profit entity, our primary purpose is to support the fire department both financially and administratively. Our members are at the forefront of planning, organizing, and executing a variety of fundraising projects and events, as well as lending a hand at community events and assisting with various station matters.

No matter your skill set, there’s a role for you in the Auxiliary. From party planning and grant writing to carpentry and organizational tasks, we value the diversity of talents our members bring to the table. Even if you’re unsure how your skills can contribute, we guarantee there’s a fulfilling way for you to participate and enjoy the camaraderie of our team.
