Exploring the Edgewater Volunteer Fire Department

Edgewater Volunteer Fire Department to Host Open House / Open Interview Day

Three people sit and stand behind a table under a blue canopy tent labeled "Edgewater Volunteer Fire Department." The table has brochures, helmets, and fire department logos outside a building on a sunny day.

On July 11th from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, we will be hosting an Open House / Open Interview Day for anyone interested in learning more about becoming part of our team. We are looking to welcome new members for auxiliary, cadet, and operational roles.

Volunteering with the Edgewater Volunteer Fire Department is a meaningful way to serve your community, develop valuable skills, and become part of a dedicated team. While volunteer members are not paid in the traditional sense, there are several benefits available to those whojoin. These may include property tax credits, participation in the LOSAP (Length of Service Award Program), and other volunteer service benefits. These d

etails can be discussed further once membership has been approved.
