Since our establishment in 1946, the Woodland Beach Volunteer Fire Department, now rebranded as the Edgewater Volunteer Fire Department, has continually adapted and grown to meet the expanding needs of the Edgewater community. With over 100 volunteers and 25 career personnel, our department stands as a cornerstone of safety in Edgewater. The bravery, selflessness, and commitment shown by our current and past volunteers have been integral in protecting homes, families, and businesses throughout our community.
