- Submit your completed application along with a $25 non-refundable application fee. This fee covers the background check, your first membership T-shirt, and administrative costs.

Here are a few ways for you to get involved with our great organization.
Training
The training required to operate apparatus and respond to 911 calls is provided free of charge to members in good standing with the Anne Arundel County Fire Department. Essential courses, including Firefighter, Emergency Medical Technician, and Hazardous Materials, are offered through the Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute (MFRI), a division of the University of Maryland. Upon successful completion of each course, you will receive college credits that can be applied toward a future degree program.
