At 2224hrs station 2 was alerted to the 02-01 box in the 100 block of Mayo Rd for the reported motor vehicle collision. Upon response, the call was upgraded to include entrapment. Crews from station 40 and Annapolis City Fire Department were dispatched to assist. Chief 2 arrived with what appeared to be a head on collision and assumed Mayo Rd command. Upon investigation, there was determined no entrapment but aviation was requested for a priority patient to be transported to a trauma center. Maryland State Police Trooper 2 transported 1 patient to Shock Trauma from the landing site at South River High School. Crews remained on scene for about an hr.
