On May 3, 2025, our dedicated Edgewater Volunteer Fire Department volunteers took part in several community events, showcasing our commitment to local engagement andsupport.

Dunk Tank Fun at Seahawk Saturday

The day kicked off with Brush 2 at Edgewater Park, where we filled the dunk tank for Seahawk Saturday. Our team got the chance to interact with families and children, making this fun-filled event even more memorable!

Connecting with the Community at the Londontowne Yard Sale

Meanwhile, our auxiliary members, along with the department’s President and Vice President, set up a recruitment station at the Londontowne Community YardSale. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with community members, share information about our services, and invite new volunteers to join our team.

Spring Family Festival at Riva Trace Baptist Church

Riding members, including our Chief, attended the Riva Trace Baptist Church Spring Family Festival. The atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as we handed out around 200 fire helmets along with various goodies, ranging from keychains to coloring books. These items were a hit with the kids, and we loved seeing the smiles on their faces!

Building Relationships in Our Community

Overall, it was a wonderful day filled with meaningful conversations with our community members and supporters from around the area. We cherish these interactions and the opportunity to build relationships within our community.
